S:Deut. 7:8- But because the LORD loved you, and because he would keep the oath which he had sworn unto your fathers, hath the LORD brought you out with a mighty hand, and redeemed you out of the house of bondmen, from the hand of Pharoah king of Egypt.
O: the LORD chose the Israelites because 1. He loved them 2. He is faithful to keep His Promises.
A: when i am feeling people have abandoned me or im feeling unloved, i can rest assured that I am loved by GOD who chose me, loves me and will never leave nor forsake me. He is faithful to keep His Promises and He is Mighty.
K: Father GOD, Thank You for choosing me and for loving me even when i was yet a sinner. Thank You for being faithful, loving, Mighty, Awesome and Good. Help me to know You love me when i feel that everyone is against me. In Jesus Name, Amen.

deut. 6

S:Deut. 6:6~And these words, which I command thee this day, shall be in thine heart:
O: this is saying to keep the commandments in your heart.
A: i can keep God's Word in my heart by studying, meditating and memorizing it. This verse reminds me of the verse in Psalm 119 where it says, Thy Word have i hid in mine heart, that i might not sin against thee. (Psalm119:11)
K: Precious Father, Thank You for Your WORD! Help me to hide Your word in my heart so that i might not sin against You. Help me to study, meditate and memorize verses in Your WORD! In Jesus Name, Amen.

deut. 4&5

S:Deut.4:31 (For the LORD thy God is a merciful God;) he will not forsake thee, neither destroy thee, nor forget the covenant of thy fathers which he sware unto them.
O: Oh man how merciful and faithful GOD is! His mercies are new every morning. He's faithful to keep His promises. Parents and spouses may abandon us. Family and friends may forsake us. Oh but our loving Father will never leave nor forsake us.
A: i can aim to be more like Christ and show more mercy towards others and with the help of the LORD to keep promises.
K: Father GOD, when it comes to how much mercy You've shown me in my life, words just can't express how grateful and thankful i am. I praise You for the mercy You've shown me. I worship You for Your faithfulness to thousands of generations. In Christ's Name, Amen.
S:Deut.5:4- The LORD talked with you face to face in the mount out of the midst of the fire,
O&A: What stood out to me was that the LORD spoke to them face to face and out of the midst of the fire. He still speaks today. The Bible days that Jesus is the same yesterday, today and forever. Sometimes through trials (fire) in life, we feel that GOD has left us and isnt speaking. That's not true. GOD has promised to never leave nor forsake us. Though He may seem quiet, the Teacher is always silent during a test. It's possible though that He may be speaking but we are too focused on the problem and not focused on the LORD. It could be too that He's speaking but it's in the lesson itself. Just as the LORD was with the 3 Hebrew children in the fire, He is with us as well. We need to only be still so we can hear His still small voice.
K: LORD, thank You that You still speak today and that You never change. Thank You that You are always with us in every condition of life whether it's through the sunshine or whether it's through the fire. When trials come, help me to stay focused on You and not the storm. In Jesus Name, Amen.

deut. 3

S:Deut.3:22-Ye shall not fear them: for the LORD your God he shall fight for you.
O: Moses was telling Joshua to not fear men because GOD would fight for him. If we have GOD on our side, we shouldn't fear man. Sometimes that's hard to do though considering the world we live in. We need to trust GOD to defend and protect us. This verse can be used for several occasions such as when people talk about you, falsely accuse you, threaten you and are abusive towards you and in other situations.
A: this verse made me think of other verses in the Bible, Exodus 14:13&14, Romans 8:31, Deut.1:30 and others. When others come against me, i can cry out to GOD for protection and Him to defend and avenge me.
K: Father GOD, thank You for being my Defender and Protector. Thank You for being my Faithful Father in Whom i can trust completely. In Christ's Name, Amen.

deut. 2

S:Deut. 2:1-Then we turned, and took our journey into the wilderness by the way of the Red Sea, as the LORD spake unto me: and we compassed mount Seir many days.
O: Moses recounts how he and the children of Israel went through the wilderness. They wandered in the wilderness for many days because of their unbelief and complaining.
A: it's good sometimes to remember where you've been and how far GOD has brought you. But, don't stay there, because it'll only lead to trouble. On a different note, our unbelief and complaining can make is wander into territory we shouldn't be in. It's vital to keep our focus on GOD. Believe and trust Him and press forward.
K: Thank You Father for the many lessons one can learn out of this chapter. Help me to keep my focus on You so i won't be tempted to wander. In Christ's Name, Amen.

deut. 1

S:Deut.1:30- The LORD your God which goeth before you, He shall fight for you, according to all that He did for you in Egypt before your eyes;
O: this reminds me of the reference verse Exodus 14:14 which states, The LORD shall fight for you, and ye shall hold your peace. That verse can also be referenced to Psalm 46:10. The LORD will fight for us. He's the Best Defence Attorney. He will defend and protect us.
A: sometimes in life, i cant defend myself when it comes to getting into a conversation of "hot topics". I'm so thankful that all i have to do is call upon my LORD and HE will defend ne, go before me and fight for me.
P: LORD, thank You for the promise of this verse. Thank You for being my Defender and Protector. In Christ's Name, amen.
